Primeramente, permítanme presentarme. Mi nombre es Simon Virgo y soy el Director Ejecutivo de City Savings. Con respecto a ofrecer mayor información, debo disculparme por no tener todavía una página web en español. Estamos trabajando en ello y de momento solo nuestros productos y la solicitud de apertura se encuentran en español. Informaremos en este forum del momento en que esté activa dicha traducción de la página web.
En contestación a los temas aquí planteados:
1/ City Savings es un Proveedor de Servicios Financieros regitrado en Nueva Zelanda, de completa propiedad de City Corporation del Reino Unido, un bien conocido grupo financiero.
2/ Nuestra base está en Nueva Zelanda y las cuentas se abren en línea (y también en nuestras oficinas, si están de visita en Auckland!)
3/ En cuanto a no estar de momento en el listado de iahorro.com, no estamos seguros de porque se ha producido, pero creemos que ha podido ser provocado por los comentarios abiertos en este forum. Nos hemos puesto en contacto con iahorro.com para que vuelvan a activarlo.
4/ El artículo al que se hace referencia en uno de los comentarios del forum tiene ciertos meses de antiguedad y fue extremadamente parcial en su naturaleza. Por entonces estábamos trabajando con el Banco Central y los reguladores de Nueva Zelanda para acordar los términos a utilizar en la página web. Todos los términos utiizados en nuestra página web han sido acordados y los reguladores nos dieron el visto bueno completo.

Firstly, please allow me to introduce myself. My names is Simon Virgo and I am the Managing Director of City Savings. My response here has been translated by my colleague Jose Escalera, a senior member of our team, who is a Spanish national. Jose will continue to monitor this forum and respond to any further questions.
In respect of more information, I must first apologise that we do not yet have a full Spanish language site. We are working on this currently but at the moment only our Products and Apply Now pages are in Spanish. We will post details of the Spanish site on this forum once it is live.
To answer the points raised:
1/ City Savings is a New Zealand registered Financial Services Provider, wholly owned by City Corporation in the UK, a well-known financial group.
2/ We are based in New Zealand and accounts can be opened online (although you can open accounts at our offices here if you happen to be in Auckland!)
3/ In terms of not being on iahorro.com at the moment, we are not certain as to why this was done, but we think it was triggered by the opening comments of this forum. We have contacted iahorro.com to restore the listing.
4/ The article that is referenced below is several months old and was extremely biased in its nature. At the time we were working with the Central Bank and the regulator here in New Zealand to agree parts of our website wording. All of the wording was agreed and the regulators gave us complete sign-off.
